Sneak Preview of Brian Godawa’s New Documentary – SCHOOL’S OUT

School’s Out: Political Correctness vs. Academic Freedom

Dear Two Handed Warriors,

If you live near Los Angeles, please join me for a SNEAK PREVIEW of my new documentary, School’s Out: Political Correctness vs. Academic Freedom, THIS TUESDAY NIGHT (3/6).

You must make reservations through AFA. To do so click here.

Hope to see you there,

Brian Godawa

About the Film:
Diversity in higher education has been defined in terms of race, gender and class. Supporters say this is a triumph over white male privilege and western cultural imperialism. They claim there is an underlying system of oppression against minorities in education. But critics argue that such “identity politics” has led to a new intolerance through political correctness, groupthink, and indoctrination that undermines the university’s goal of intellectual diversity and academic freedom.

Who is right? Who is wrong? Where does the truth lie? Or is truth simply defined by those in power? This documentary explores the battlefield of this raging war of cultural and educational standards going on in the humanities and social sciences in our colleges all around the country.

About the Filmmaker:

Brian Godawa is a professional filmmaker and screenwriter of To End All Warsstarring Kiefer Sutherland, and Alleged, starring Brian Dennehy and Fred Thompson. Brian’s book, Hollywood Worldviews  is used as a textbook in schools around the country. (For longer bio, see Contributors link.)

About School’s OutThis soon-to-be-released film takes off where Waiting for Superman ended – examining the failure of our tertiary institutions to adequately protect free speech, contrarian political views and academic freedom. In a gripping – and at times humorous – journey through academia, the film exposes administrative malfeasance and plain cowardliness as political correctness effectively silences the voices of those who wish to challenge the system. The film is a sobering account of an intellectually decaying and ideologically bankrupt academy and it will give any parent pause about sending a child to a U.S. college in the 21st Century.

Call the AFA office at (310) 444-3085 for further information on the screening
